December 08 e-bulletin
In this e-bulletin we outline the ‘Turning the Curve’ methodology and how it can link to the delivery of LAA targets. We provide updates on news relating to LAAs, including the LGA report on the local impact of the recession and the upcoming Place Survey, and we introduce the new LAA PLUS Events Programme for January - June 2009.

October 08 e-bulletin
In this e-bulletin, we look at a number of relevant and recent issues relating to the LAA block themes, including children and young people, safer and stronger communities, healthier communities and older people, economic development and enterprise, the impact of the recession on LAAs, and the Council of regional ministers. We also look at the results from the LAA PLUS member survey, alongside some interesting comparisons between the top ten member NIs and the top ten national NIs.

August 08 e-bulletin
In this e-bulletin, we look at the new LAAs signed off in June with the priorities set by all local authorities in England and delivery challenges that may occur; how equalities are integrated through LAAs, with some examples of good practice; recent policy updates including the consultation of the future of the LAA reward scheme, the PRG, CAA consultation, and the Empowerment White Paper; as well as recent reports on the national evaluation of local public service agreements, roles and responsibilities in the local performance framework, and a report by English Heritage on LAAs and the historic environment.

E-Bulletin Archive
